Truly the best Jazz and Cocktail bar in Canberra. Wonderful Jazz Tuesday - Friday. Great atmosphere and the bar staff are incredible. Give them free reign to craft the perfect drink for your taste and enjoy the night. Lucas, Liam, Cameron and the team take pride in finding the right drink for your pallet. Molly very quickly becomes a home.

It feels like a small time capsule from the prohibition era. Small and cosy, there is a regular jazz band that plays, and an endless choice of whisky, gin and cocktails. It can get a bit pricey but worth it for tasting experiences and to try new drinks or experience something different. The staff are great, the food is delicious and you definitely come here for the drinks.

I've regretfully not taken any pictures of the cocktails as I enjoyed it that much! Molly is what you may call a speakeasy. It was well hidden that I'd walked past it twice. Once inside, you're almost taken back to the 70's vibe. The range of whiskeys are simply incredible. The bartenders are nice and loves a good chat. Also, they provide pretzels on the house. I'd highly recommend Molly to anyone visiting Canberra and is possibly one of the better bars I've visited.

Incredible, no other words. If you've been to Baxter's inn, in Sydney, then your will vibe with Molly. Very very good, exceptional staff, exceptional cocktails, magnificent whisky selection 👌

Exceptional hospitality and service from the gentleman at Molly. I am a regular guest there and will continue to return as I always feel welcomed by the staff and the environment. High quality beverages and always treated with respect by bartenders and waiters. Highly recommended to anyone with a keen eye for a good whiskey and those who seek a lovely place to spend their evening.

Molly is hands down one of the best bars in Canberra. The hidden entrance gives it an exciting and exclusive feeling, while the interior is warm and inviting. The live jazz is the cherry on top. The bartenders are really skilled and knowledgeable allowing them to make creative and tasty cocktails based on your preference. Venue Manager Lukas is doing an excellent job at running the bar smoothly while ensuring customers get what they are looking for. Absolute gem 💎

Recently had my 21st birthday party in the vault function room, 1920s themed. The staff were lovely and helpful as always, shout out to Michael our bartender for the night, food and drinks were delicious, atmosphere and music was perfect for the 1920s vibe, and overall a memorable night!! I always love going to Molly’s to listen to the jazz and have a cocktail, it’s definitely my favourite place in Canberra 🥰

I come here often mostly because the staff are attentive, thorough, classy.. It’s a lovely atmosphere with music always at a premium (soul, funk, jazz). I feel comfortable as a single woman sitting a the bar and meet locals and visitors. Molly Bar is in the one of the oldest buildings buildings in Canberra so it feels good. It really is a hidden gem. You simply must go.

Top notch service and hospitality every time I visit. The team at Molly’s don’t hesitate to make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, which is why it’s become one of my regular spots. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, the drinks are top quality, and the staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and respectful. Came by on my last night in Canberra before heading home. Staff are super friendly and love/have fun with what they do! Regulars are welcomed just as fondly as newcomers are! For anyone who is seeking to enter, head through the open door in the laneway and head up the stairs on your right. I highly recommend this place, fantastic drinks, amazing atmosphere, the best bar staff! P.S: I recommend the Bootsy Collins, favourite drink of the night!
